Hearthwork is a small business that helps people find remote jobs. You trust us with personal details like your resume, so here is exactly what we collect and what we do with it.

If you only browse job listings

• You don't need an account, and we don't ask for any personal information.
• We don't use advertising trackers or sell anything about your visit.
• Our website is hosted by Cloudflare, and our job list is loaded from Google. Like any website, these services may briefly log technical details such as your IP address and browser type to keep the site running and secure.
• When you click a job, you go to the employer's own website, and their privacy policy applies there.

If you sign up for Premium

What we collect: your name, email, phone number (optional), state, the kinds of jobs you want, your schedule and pay preferences, education, licenses, work experience, languages, home work setup, and your resume.

Why: only to find jobs that fit you, improve your resume, and, on Full service, apply to jobs you approve.

What we never ask for: your Social Security number, date of birth, bank details, or ID documents. Real employers ask for those themselves after an offer. If anyone claiming to be Hearthwork asks for them, it isn't us.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Who we share your information with

• Employers, but only on Full service, only for jobs you have approved, and only the true information you gave us.
• Services we use to run Hearthwork: Stripe (payments), Tally (our intake form), and Google (email and the spreadsheet where we keep your details). They store data for us and aren't allowed to use it for their own purposes.
• If the law requires it.

We never sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

We keep your details while you're a Premium customer. When you leave, we delete your resume and intake answers within 30 days. Stripe keeps payment records as required by law.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete your information at any time. Email hearthworkjobs@gmail.com and we'll take care of it within 30 days.

Children

Hearthwork is for adults looking for work. Premium is not for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If the change is important, we'll email Premium customers first.
