These terms cover your use of the Hearthwork website and our Premium plans. By using the site or buying a plan, you agree to them. Questions? Email hearthworkjobs@gmail.com.

Who we are

Hearthwork is a small, independent business run by its founder, Shidane. We are not an employer, a staffing agency, or a recruiter for any company we list. We are not affiliated with the employers whose jobs appear on our site.

Job listings

• Our job list is free. You never pay us to see or apply for a listing.
• We check each listing by hand and link to the employer's own application page. Employers can change or close jobs at any time, so a listing may be out of date by the time you see it.
• Pay, location rules, and requirements come from the employer's posting. Always confirm the details on the employer's site before you apply.
• A legitimate employer will never ask you to pay to apply, buy equipment from them, or cash a check for them. If one does, stop and tell us.

Premium plans

• Job alerts ($9 a month): we email you jobs that match what you told us.
• Resume help ($49, one time): we review and rewrite your resume for the jobs you want, and include your first month of job alerts free.
• Full service ($149 a month): job alerts, resume help, and we apply to up to 30 jobs a month for you.
• Prices are in US dollars and shown on our Premium page. If we ever change a price, we'll tell current customers by email at least 30 days before it applies to them.
• Monthly plans renew automatically until you cancel. See our refund and cancellation policy.

Applying for you (Full service)

• We only apply to a job after you approve it in writing, such as by email.
• We only use information you gave us, and we never make up or exaggerate your experience, education, or licenses.
• You're responsible for making sure the information you give us is true and up to date.
• You can stop us applying at any time by telling us.

No guarantee of a job

We do our best to find good matches and present you well, but employers decide who they interview and hire. We can't promise interviews, job offers, or any particular pay.

Your part

• Use Hearthwork for your own job search only.
• Don't copy our job list in bulk, try to break the site, or use it for anything illegal.
• Be respectful when you contact us.

We may cancel a plan if someone breaks these terms. If we do, we'll refund any unused part of a month you've paid for.

Limits on our responsibility

We provide the website and our services "as is". We aren't responsible for employers' decisions, for how employers treat applicants, or for mistakes in their job postings. As far as the law allows, the most we will ever owe you is the amount you paid us in the last 3 months.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and email Premium customers before any important change. Continuing to use Hearthwork after a change means you accept it.
